Information:

Order Cut Off Times.

Business day delivery cut off times are listed below (deliveries are always subject to parts availability):

  • 12:00 Boilers, Cylinders and Solar Kits (pallet shipments, GB mainland only).
  • 16:00 Spare Parts and Accessories (parcels shipped from Old Sarum).
  • Orders received over a weekend or bank holiday will be processed next working day.
  • There are no deliveries or collections on public holidays.

    Which courier do you use?

    Taking into account our customer base is largely tradesmen, the priority for most heating engineers is to satisfy customer's needs as quickly as possible.

    • We use DPD Local and Parcelforce as our main UK couriers.
    • DPD Local and Parcelforce provide a range of easy-to-use, time-critical UK delivery options.
    • Pallet deliveries are shipped via Hellmann Worldwide Logistics

    Tracking Apps

    • DPD Local provides tracking through the DPD Local website.
    • Smart phone users may also download the free DPD App for tracking and delivery customisation; Google Play for Android phones and the iTunes store for iPhones.
    • Parcelforce provides tracking through the Parcelforce website.
    • You may also download the free Parcelforce App for tracking and delivery customisation; Google Play for Android phones and the iTunes store for iPhones.
    • Unfortunately pallet shipments cannot be tracked at this time.

    Where do you deliver?

    Our market place is Great Britain, we do not deliver outside of GB mainland, we do not ship internationally.
    For sales and support in Northern Ireland please contact Bassetts.
    And for the Republic of Ireland, please contact Precision Heating.

    How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?

    Delivery service costs for your post code area are detailed in the Delivery Method part of the check out process.

    Do you always meet your delivery timescales?

    At all times couriers will do everything humanly possible to meet delivery timescales.
    Occasionally a package may be delayed due to a variety of unforeseen reasons. and because of this we cannot guarantee each and every delivery, especially during peak seasons such as Black Friday and holdiay periods.
    When delays happen, which is not often, we will personally manage the routing of your parcel and re-arrange delivery at the earliest opportunity.
    Furthermore we monitor service bulletins, helping us to anticipate issues which may cause delay:

    Royal Mail.

    Royal Mail First Class (Signed for) is a special service for small items which aims for delivery in one to three days to UK Mainland, including Saturdays.

    Pallet Deliveries.

  • Generally all pallet items are shipped using an AM delivery service, 08:00 - 1200 pm.
  • This is a 'kerb-side' service, the driver will place the pallet as close as to the customer's property as possbile or a designated area. You should make your own arrangements to transfer the goods to your property. Please do not expect the delivery driver to carry your goods to its place of installation or storage.
  • A signature will be required for POD.

    Weekend deliveries

    Couriers only collect from on weekdays. Therefore all Saturday deliveries must be ordered by 4pm on Fridays.

    Split deliveries.

    We normally despatch multiple item orders fully complete.
    If one or more of the items are out of stock we will wait until all items are available to despatch your order in full.
    If you require a split delivery please call to arrange, this my incur additional shipping charges.

    No signature required.

  • If you're happy for your delivery to be left somewhere safe at your own risk, then please add details to the delivery instructions on check out (this does not apply to pallet/boiler deliveries where a signature is mandatory).
  • The delivery driver may use his discretion if he considers the safe place to be unsafe, in which case he may choose to leave the parcel with a neighbour or local post office. Any change will be noted on the tracking.

    What if I'm not going to be in when you make a delivery?

  • Around 8am on the day of delivery DPD Local & Parcelforce send a SMS and eMail notification with a 1 hour delivery window.
  • You may change the delivery date by replying to the notification sent by the courier or through the relevant app.
  • Furthermore, using the apps, you can also arrange for the driver to leave your package somewhere safe, with a neighbour or maybe at your local post office.
  • Failing all the above, the driver may leave a card saying they've called with further collection instructions.
  • If your parcel fails to turn up on time please let us know as soon as possible in order to carryout an investigation and provide a solution.

    Can I have free shipping on my order?

    We all like 'free' but the costs have to be absorbed somewhere, we'd rather be transparent and identify the shipping service charges to you.
    Having said that we do offer free delivery on certain manufacturer's promotions and net order values.
    Unless otherwise stated, 'Free Delivery' during promotions is limited to online orders, with a standard delivery service.
