Spirotech Price Increases

Spirotech UK announced and implemented product price increases of approximately 4% from 1st June and removed discounts from key products (mainly MB3 and RV2).
We've reviewed our pricing to follow suite and implemented the changes from 30th July.


Spirotech Lauches SpiroCross cashback offer.

This offer has now been extended to July 31st 2018 for the Brass AX* SpiroCross only.

UK’s premier supplier of water treatment solutions, Spirotech, has launched a cashback offer for engineers and contractors that purchase its industry leading SpiroCross product.
Launching on 1st November and running until the end of April 2018, engineers and contractors can now get a minimum of £70 cash-back when they purchase a SpiroCross unit, with both the steel and brass product ranges eligible within the offer.
To claim the cash, participants simply have to email their purchase invoice or VAT receipt to The SpiroCross comes in two ranges: the SpiroCross AX is made of high quality brass, and the SpiroCross XC out of commercial strength steel. The two model types share the same technologies and were developed by Spirotech using Computational Fluid Dynamics, with the units undertaking rigorous testing at the Dutch company’s headquarters.
The SpiroCross AX is suited to domestic and light commercial applications. Its connection sizes range from 1” to 1.5”, with all units boasting a 20-year warranty and weighing just 6.5 kg.
The SpiroCross XC is for larger commercial installations, with connection sizes ranging from 50mm to 300mm, plus larger bespoke custom-built units upon request. All steel SpiroCross units come with a 5-year warranty.

April 2018 Boiler Plus Legislation - Viessmann Compliant

In readiness for the new legislation we are delighted to announce that the Vitodens 050-W, 100-W and 111-W Combi boilers are now fully compliant with the Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide (DBSCG) 2018 (for Part L 2013) as standard.
The Weather compensation sensor will be included in the box at no extra cost

Boiler Plus - New Installation Regulations from April 2018

Any new boiler installation in England will need to adhere to an updated set of regulations from April 2018.
These regulations demand a higher set of energy efficiency measures on new boilers than ever before.

Called Boiler Plus, the new regulations mean that, as well as a higher minimum efficiency rating, all new gas and oil boiler installations must include a programme timer and a thermostat so that you can effectively control your heating. While the majority of homes do have this, it wasn’t a requirement until now.
Additionally every combi boiler installation must also include one additional energy-saving measure.

Viessmann availability

April 2018. Due to an increased demand there is a backlog of orders at Viessmann's main distribution hub.
This is causing delays in replenishing our warehouse stock and to our boiler deliveries.
Please be assured staff are working flat out to remove the backlog and we will keep our customers informed of any impact.


Manufacturer's Price Increase 1st Feb

Viessmann have announced an annual price increase of 4.9% across product groups. From 1st February Viessmann Direct will also increase prices inline with the new costs.
Quotes issued prior to 31st January 2018 for domestic products and spare parts will be honoured up to February 7th.
Quotes issued prior to 31st January 2018 for commercial products will be honoured up to 14th February.

New Parcelforce App.

There is nothing fun about waiting in for a parcel to arrive.
The Parcelforce Worldwide smart phone app enhances your delivery experience by providing improved tracking through My Parcel Live and the option to set future delivery preferences. In summary:

  • You can track your parcel through to delivery with a link to My Parcel Live.
  • My Parcel Live shows where our driver is en route, the drivers name and the estimated one hour delivery window
  • Choose your delivery preferences. Remember to provide your email address and phone number when you place your order so we can identify your preferences

When setting your delivery preferences you can:

  • Add notes for the driver to make the delivery as smooth as possible
  • Tell us what you would like us to do with your parcel in the event you are not at home. For example:
    • Deliver to a neighbour. Do you have a neighbour who is likely to accept your delivery if you’re not at home? If so you can select your preferred neighbour.
    • Deliver to a post office®. Select a Post Office which you would like to collect from
    • Deliver to a Safe Place. Deliver to a Safe Place and specify a designated location for us to leave your parcel(s)
