    As part of the ongoing development and improvements to the Viessmann Direct website we have recently introduced a 'Save Order' feature exclusively for account holders.
    Just follow these easy steps:

  • Login to your account.
  • Add products to your basket.
  • View basket
  • Either in the 'Basket' view or at the 'Confirm Order page' you will see the 'Save Order' option at the foot of the page.
  • Type in an order reference and click Save, the saved order will appear in 'Your Account.'

    You will be able to retrieve the sales order and add it to a new basket in the 'Your Account' section (click on Account at the top of the website and select 'Your Account' from the dropdown).

    Coronavirus - COVID-19 Update II.

    Re-opening of Warehouse. Some good news at last!
    After reviewing safety and risk it has been decided to re-open the Old Sarum warehouse.
    Only a skeleton staff will have access to the unit, all deliveries, collections and customers will be dealt with outside the reception door.

    Online orders may be collected by prior arrangement, just press the door buzzer for intercom attention.
    Afterwards, please stand away from the door and maintain a 2 metre distance between yourself and anyone else around the premises.

    Business as usual. We shall continue to process on-line orders, answer your calls and emails, nothing has changed.


    Easter Break

    During Easter our offices and warehouses shall be closed from 4pm Thursday 9th April to 9am Tuesday 14th April.
    All online orders received during this period will be processed on our return, for delivery on Wednesday 15th April

    There will be no deliveries or collections on Good Friday, 10th April and Easter Monday, 13th April.
    A ParcelForce delivery service should be operating on Saturday 11th April.

    Coronavirus - COVID-19 Update.

    Temporary Warehouse Closure. With both staff and visitors' safety in mind, and following recent Government guidance, it has been necessary to temporarily close our warehouse operations at Old Sarum, Salisbury. However

    Business as usual. All our staff are working from their homes.
    We shall continue to process on-line orders, answer your calls and emails, nothing changes. The only difference is the delivery offering. Through the manufacturer, we can only deliver to the UK Mainland, Monday to Friday, with next day All Day, AM and pre 10:30am options.
    Please ensure your orders are placed by 1pm for next day delivery, as always, deliveries are subject to product availability.
    Boiler orders will be processed as normal.



    Coronavirus - COVID-19

    The scene is changing by the minute and we are keeping up to date with the latest advice from UK Government and Public Health England.

    Access. Our main concern is protecting staff, customers and services. To that end we have cancelled all face to face meetings and reduced access to our office and warehouse at Old Sarum.

    Services. We will continue to despatch orders as normal, from either our Old Sarum warehouse or through Viessmann's hub. Our couriers, Parcelforce and DPD, are issuing daily service bulletins and have warned deliveries may be delayed during this period of uncertainty.

    Service Guarantee. Refunds are occasionally given when couriers have been at fault for late delivery, but, understandably during this period both couriers have suspended their UK service guarantee and will not issue any associated refunds.
    Nevertheless, you can be certain both companies will seek to ensure 'all reasonable endeavours' to maintain service levels.

    Contingency. For reassurance, we have plans in place for our Viessmann supply services to continue even if we have to shut-down our local office and warehouse operations.

    We fully understand the importance of having a warm home, with reliable heating and a constant supply of hot water. Please be assured we shall do our upmost to continue providing our services.

    Your patience and understanding during these unusual times is greatly appreciated.

    Telford, UK – Viessmann’s Vitodens domestic boiler range has been awarded Which? Best Buy status for the third year running. Viessmann is described as a “very smart choice” by the respected UK consumer organisation in its annual survey.

    Offering a comprehensive range of domestic gas-condensing boilers (from 11 kW to 60 kW output), Viessmann excels in reliability and engineer recommendations, as well as customer scores and build quality.

    The independent Which? survey, carried out earlier this year, is based on feedback from 171 registered Trusted Traders heating engineers and 8,458 domestic customers according to robust criteria.

    Vitocell 300-V Introducing the market's most energy efficient unvented DHW cylinders.

    Two new DHW cylinders combine an A+ energy rating with high performance.

    Telford, UK - Viessmann has introduced the only domestic hot water cylinders on the market with an A+ rating. The two new floorstanding Vitocell 300-V DHW cylinders, with capacities of 160 and 200 litres, are twice as energy efficiency in terms of standby losses as the industry norm.

    Both new versions of the Vitocell 300-V replace the previous A rated models, and both are suitable for domestic installations with boiler outputs up to 80 kW. Higher DHW demands can be accommodated by combining several Vitocell 300-V cylinders into cylinder banks with common headers.

    The 300-V’s exceptional heat retention is made possible by using a highly effective vacuum panel insulation as well as the very efficient Polyurethane hard foam. Heat losses are merely 0.7 kWh per 24 hours for the 160-litre model and 0.75 kWh per 24 hours for the 200-litre model.

    The new 300-V combines this unmatched energy efficiency withhigh performance. The indirect heating coil is larger than in most common cylinders and drawn all the way down to the cylinder floor to heat the entire water content. Heat-up time from 10 to 60 degrees is just 20 minutes for the 160-litre cylinder and 24 minutes for the 200-litre cylinder. The low pressure-drop of the heating coil, at only 15 millibars, is approximately 35% lower than a typical competitor cylinder. This negates the requirement for oversizing the circulating pump; specifying a smaller pump will save electricity.

    Maximum hot water flow rates are 24 and 34 litres per minute respectively.

    Viessmann is urging installers and end-users to recognise the role of hot water storage in optimising environmentally-friendly installations. Darren McMahon, Viessmann marketing director, commented: “Customers who want a truly efficient system for their hot water should consider specifying Viessmann’s A+ rated Vitocell 300-V cylinders, which meet that need better than any others. It’s a false economy to buy a cheaper but less efficient cylinder, then accumulate larger fuel bills over many years.”

    The 300-V’s insulation package can be removed for easy handling (check model). Transportation and installation are also made easy by the 300-V’s low weight and compact dimensions. Both 300-Vs are 581 mm long and 605 mm wide, with the smaller-capacity model measuring 1189 mm in height and the larger-capacity model 1409 mm.

    April 2018 Boiler Plus Legislation - Viessmann Compliant

    In readiness for the new legislation we are delighted to announce that the Vitodens 050-W, 100-W and 111-W Combi boilers are now fully compliant with the Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide (DBSCG) 2018 (for Part L 2013) as standard.

    Boiler Plus - New Installation Regulations from April 2018

    Any new boiler installation in England will need to adhere to an updated set of regulations from April 2018.
    These regulations demand a higher set of energy efficiency measures on new boilers than ever before.

    Called Boiler Plus, the new regulations mean that, as well as a higher minimum efficiency rating, all new gas and oil boiler installations must include a programme timer and a thermostat so that you can effectively control your heating. While the majority of homes do have this, it wasn’t a requirement until now.
    Additionally every combi boiler installation must also include one additional energy-saving measure.

    Viessmann availability

    April 2018. Due to an increased demand there is a backlog of orders at Viessmann's main distribution hub.
    This is causing delays in replenishing our warehouse stock and to our boiler deliveries.
    Please be assured staff are working flat out to remove the backlog and we will keep our customers informed of any impact.


    Manufacturer's Price Increase 1st Feb

    Viessmann have announced an annual price increase of 4.9% across product groups. From 1st February Viessmann Direct will also increase prices inline with the new costs.
    Quotes issued prior to 31st January 2018 for domestic products and spare parts will be honoured up to February 7th.
    Quotes issued prior to 31st January 2018 for commercial products will be honoured up to 14th February.

    The Parcelforce Worldwide smart phone app enhances your delivery experience by providing improved tracking through My Parcel Live and the option to set future delivery preferences. In summary:

    • You can track your parcel through to delivery with a link to My Parcel Live.
    • My Parcel Live shows where our driver is en route, the drivers name and the estimated one hour delivery window
    • Choose your delivery preferences. Remember to provide your email address and phone number when you place your order so we can identify your preferences

    When setting your delivery preferences you can:

    • Add notes for the driver to make the delivery as smooth as possible
    • Tell us what you would like us to do with your parcel in the event you are not at home. For example:
      • Deliver to a neighbour. Do you have a neighbour who is likely to accept your delivery if you’re not at home? If so you can select your preferred neighbour.
